Art Classes
I love sharing my love of creativity, and guiding students through creative proceses.
I lead classes of children, adults, or a mix of both! I’ve taught private classes as well as classes at the Newark Public Library.

Intro to Watercolor
Watercoloring is a passion of mine, and I love sharing that passion with others. During my classes I guide students through creative expression, and teach them to find inspiration in the world around them. We practice quick paintings to get into a creative flow, and then spend time on creating a more detailed piece.

Customization with Leather Paint
Customization is a great way to show a bit about your personality. It can convey your favorite colors, hobbies or styles that you like. In this class we use Angelus leather paints to customize shoes, a purse, canvas bag, or other item!
-
UpCycled Gift Wrap
Make your gift wrap into works of art! In this class we take recyclables, remnants, and other scraps and make them into rad gift wrap. By taking items that were bound for the garbage or recycling bin, we’re practicing sustainability and creativity.
-
Ocean Watercolors
In this class we dive into watercolor by painting beach scenes. Designed to be a soothing activity, we practice painting waves, sand, and water.
-
Animal Watercolors
What’s your favorite animal? From snakes to bears, marmots to bumble bees, animals make great watercolor subjects. In this class we use photo references to create one of a kind paintings of your favorite animal.

Creative Flow
Sometimes the best way to relax and unwind is to break out many types of art supplies and let your creativity run wild. In this class we play around with materials, and let our imaginations run free.
